         “Make your Passion Your Profession”

My passion is playing basketball. This is my passion, because I started knowing the game when I was about 9 years old. Ever since then, I enjoy playing it. I can make this passion of mine to a profession by playing and practicing everyday and to never give up even if it gets hard. I need to be dedicated to it and to enjoy the game. To be a professional basketball player in the WNBA is to at least to graduate high school and get a diploma. Furthermore, players must have complete 4 years of their college eligibility. One of the requirements is you must have some experience with this sport. One of the skills that is required is dribbling. It is one of the most important requirement. Another significant skill is shooting. You get more points. Other skills that is required are running in speed and stamina, jumping, and passing. The only talent that is required is to have desire and to enjoy the game. The only attitude that is required for this profession is to have a positive attitude. You must have sportsmanship within you.

Reflection: In order to make my passion my profession is just to keep playing till college. I will keep practicing everyday and to keep pushing. The key is to never ever give up, because this is my passion.

     Thanksgiving Week
Thanksgiving week went out pretty fast. On friday, the last day of school to Thanksgiving week, I had my first love-night game for basketball. We got that win. On Saturday, I attend to my college class just for an hour. Then I went to pick up my friend to attend the homeless walk. The homeless walk is a walk where you support the homeless. On Sunday, I did the usual which is practicing basketball and playing video games. On Monday, I helped my mother clean the house and it took a whole day and yet we still need more to accomplish. I also had time to write on my goals journal.  On Tuesday, I attend to practice at 10:00 and I had a lot of fun. Then I helped my mom clean the living room and the garage. On Wednesday, I went with my mom to pick out some stuff for our Thanksgiving dinner. Then we took a break by playing video games. We had lots of fun. I got to spend time with my mom which was part of my goals. Then, at last, was Thanksgiving. When I woke up, I started to text my friends that I was grateful for them and they are a huge part of my life. Then I went downstairs to eat breakfast that my mom made me. We ate strawberry pancakes. That day, I went to do my three essays that were assigned from my english teacher. I finished it in 3 hours. Then, while my dad was getting the turkey and mash potatoes, I helped my mom set up the table. We decorated with candles and decorations. At eight o’clock, it was time for the feats. We ate mash potatoes, turkey, spaghetti, cocktail, pumpkin pie, and cinnamon rolls. On Friday, my mom, brother, sister, and myself went black friday shopping. There were a lot of great sales. After a 4-hour shopping, we went home and rest. On saturday, we went to the movie theaters to see Moana. It was really interesting. Then on Sunday, we did the same thing as usual. That was my thanksgiving week.

HPIAM

Yesterday was pretty awesome. During school, i made new friends and they were fun to talk to. After the dismissal, my brother picked me up and went to buy a Slurpee. Then, he went to drop me off at school for my basketball practice. The practice was tiring and I was all sore. However, my friends were on the benches cheering me up and that helped me a lot. After practice was over, my coach talked to us and stated that my friend from basketball and I made it to varsity. I was extremely happy. I just need to manage my time in practices and homework! Overall, yesterday was the greatest.
