  Chiropractor

Duties and responsibilities: A chiropractor is a health care provider who work with patients that has some sort of pain in their bones, muscles, and tendons. They sometimes also collaborate with ongoing rehabilitation care with physical therapists or doctors.  They analyze the patient’s posture,spine, and reflexes. An important duty they do the most is to give additional treatments such as applying heat or cold to the injured area. Finally they conduct tests including evaluating the patient’s posture and taking x-rays.

Salary: ($66,160 USD)

Education: To become a chiropractor, your first step is to earn 90 credits of undergraduate coursework. You then earn a bachelor’s degree. Step two is to attend a chiropractic college.  You can earn a 4-year program. Step three is to obtain a license. Step four is to choose a chiropractic specialty. And finally, step five is to complete continuing education to maintain licensure.

Demand for this profession: According to chiropractor.com, there are very few chiropractors here in our community. I believe we need more chiropractors in society.
Reflection: I think i don't want to be a chiropractor because it doesn’t really catch my attention. We need more chiropractors but this career seems not interesting.
