Class Evaluation

                                            Class Evaluation

Some things that I liked about this class, is that whenever we meet, we always learn something new. For instance, we learn inspirational quotes about life. We also learn various types of medical professions. Another thing I like about this class is that my teacher always give real life examples about these quotes. He tells us to always do the right thing, because it can affect our future in a positive way. He reminds to not choose the wrong path and be responsible and have a good name. Our teacher helps us how to type with all fingers. He gives us advises and some websites to help us type more advanced.
Some things that I don't like about this class, is that there students that are being disrespectful to the class. They sometimes talk when the teacher is talking, they chew gum, they don't follow directions, and just doing what they feel like doing. I find that disrespectful and not having an academic integrity.
Some recommendations for this class would be to add a little bit more of fun. To make teaching and learning a little more fun. For instance, while we work, there could be a small tone of nice music. Besides that, this class doesn't need recommendations.
A highlight for me in this class was when I got 35 words per minute and without errors in my typing tutor. This was a great highlight for me, because I always make errors and my capacity and speed are very low. This shows that with practice, I am advancing in my typing. Another highlight, was when our teacher first taught us about choosing the right and to be committed in it. This changed my life, because I now know what comes if I choose the right.
I really tried my best in this class. I tried to maintain my ctr card wherever I go and complete the assignments he assigned us. I did my 110 percent best on completing my assignment and trying maintain an "A" in this course.
Yes I am reading my life planning goals and reporting it, however not daily. I know that I am supposed to do it daily, but that was my mistake. I am trying to report it daily. In the other other hand, I do read and write on my life planning goals daily.
I am committed to be a CTR person, because a person who chooses the right are happy and they become successful people in life. They are responsible, spiritual, loyal, hard-working, patient, cooperative, respectful, humble, and honest. Ctr people always get good grades and they don't lie. To be committed to be a ctr person can change  numerous people's lives. Besides, if you do the right, you feel right 24/7.

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another.”
                                       By: Paul Hatch
This quote is saying that when you say one lie, no matter what, you will say another lie. It is what humans do. When a person tells a lie, they tell another lie to cover the first one so no one will suspect anything. People tell lies so they can protect themselves for something bad. For instance, there was a young little boy who was taught to never lie from his mother. Then , as soon as his mother left for the groceries, the little boy accidently broke the flower vase with the basketball. He was extremely scared. He didn't want to get in trouble and be yelled out so instead he got the pieces and shoved it in the closet. As his mother comes, she opened the closet and asked who broke the vase. The little boy didn’t wanted to get in trouble so instead he blamed it on his older sister. The sister denied and so did the boy. The mom noticed that the sister was sick all day and couldn’t go downstairs because she was weak. So right away, she knew it was his son. Then the mom told him that his sister couldn’t go downstairs, therefore, the little boy told another lie. This shows that as soon as you tell one lie, it would to lead to another. Even if the lie is small as an ant or big as an elephant, a lie is a lie. And it will always lead to another. Paul states that when you lie, you are closing doors on everything good. In  other words, if you lie, you are choosing the wrong. Lying is a sin and yet many people do it. They do it either to protect others and themselves, they like to make other people feel bad, they do it to protect other’s feelings, etc. If we say lies, others might lie to you as well. In the other hand, if you say one truth, it will lead to another.

         A sting from a scorpion
One beautiful scorchy day, a family of three went camping on a desert. There were sand dunes everywhere and it is hard to see some animals at this day. A little  boy name Patrick, woke up with the attention of exploring around. His parents told him numerous times to wear shoes and not flip-flops due to danger. Patrick, knowing that nothing bad would happen, got his flip-flops and went outside in the wilderness to explore. As he was observing all the natural things in his surrounding, he notice that something poked him badly. He thought it was a thorn. As he looked around to see what was that poked him, and it turned out it was a scorpion. A scorpion stung him. He cried out of pain. He yelled extremely loud to their parents and his parents went to take him to the hospital. It took 2 hours to finally get there. As they got there, the doctor injected his leg anesthesia so it would numb his leg. Inj 24 hours, it would feel all better. Now to that day, he will never forget this and he learned a valuable lesson. He ignore his parents and was lazy. He decided to be rebellious instead of doing the right thing. The lesson is that if you do not do the right thing, you will be metaphorically stung. That is the significance of doing the right thing. The little boy didn’t choose the right so he got his price back. In my experience, something similar happened to me. I was once told from my mom to not play around the bushes due to the bees. I didn’t see any bees so I thought that it wouldn’t hurt if I just played in the bushes. Then out of nowhere, a bee stung me a little that I noticed it right away that I killed it with my fist. It didn’t affect me. That is the lesson that I need to do the right thing and be obedient.

      “ Always do right”
                          By: Mark Twain
This quote is quite self-explanatory. Mark Twain emphasizes to always do the right thing. If you do good every single day, you are on your way of being a successful person. There might be some conundrums here and there, however, you know that you have to choose the right path. If you do the right thing, you feel right about it. For example,  helping an elderly with the grocery bags. It is the right thing to help him/her. It is an act of kindness which is an example of the right thing to do. Other examples involve with being obedient, friendly among everyone, respectful, cooperative, humble, honest, good sportsmanship, grateful, spiritual, etc. Twain wants everyone to do the right, because it is the key to being successful and great person with a good name. Mark states that to always do the right thing, because it will gratify people and astonish others. It is never wrong to do the right thing. Many do the right thing, because people tell them to. But doing the right has to come within you. Just remind yourself everyday, it is never to do late to do the right thing.

                       “World War ll”

World War II which is also known as the second world war, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945. After just two decades from last global conflict, the second world war was the most deadliest war in the whole history. This war involve more than 30 countries and resulting 50 million military deaths ! This war was fought between two groups of counties. One side was the Axis power that includes Germany, Italy, and Japan. On the other side were the Allies that included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, and the United states of America. Those two groups among each other.
The World War II started at September 1, 1939 and lasted in September 2,1945. World War II had numerous locations such as Russia, Europe, Africa, Pacific Ocean, Asia, Middle East. Mediterranean Sea, Eurasia, Scandinavia, Southeast Asia, and Atlantic Ocean.
Some events that happened during the war was in 1939 when Hitler invaded Poland on September the first leading that Britain and France declare war on Germany two days later. During 1940, british triumphs in Battle of Britain Forces causing Hitler to postpone invasion plans. In 1941, the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the empire of Japan. In 1942, there was a mass murder of Jewish people at Auschwitz in which it begins. Also, there was an American naval victory at Battle of Midway which marks the turning point in Pacific War. In 1943, there was a surrender at Stalingrad that marks Germany’s first major defeat.  Italy surrenders and Germany takes over the battle. In 1944, Paris was liberated. Guam liberated by the US Okinawa. Finally at 1945, Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet troops and Japan surrenders on August 14.
To honor and show respect for those who died on World War II, we all can take a moment of silence and remember those Americans who never made it home. Another way is to place flowers or flags on their graves. Wear clothing that represents America to show respect among them. Finally, just thank them for what they’ve done and their sacrifices. Just remember our veterans all year long and not just on a special day. Personally. I thank them for all what they've done to protect our corntry. Their sacrifices such as not seeing their love ones for a very long time. I really appreciate this.

student success statement

The 3 questions
1. Can people trust me to do what’s right?
2. Am I committed to doing my very best ?
3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
“If the answers to these were YES, there is no way you can fail.”

This is fantastic statement, quoted by Lou Holtz. Lou shows the three questions and states that if the answers were yes to all of them, you are in your way to be successful. He states that these are the questions to the three rules that he follows. The first question is that if people can trust me to do what’s right. To do what is right is to choose the right, to be productive,  not being perfidious, having a good name, etc. If the answer to this is yes, then you have one step forward. The second question is that if a person is committed to do their very best. One should do their very best even if it get’s hard. For instance, if you are trying out for a sport, and you are putting your 100% best, the coach will see that and might put you on the team. If you answer yes to this question, you have one more step forward. Finally, the last question is that if you treat people the way you want to be treated. This is a golden rule for many people. To treat people the same as you wanted to be treated is good.If you treat some good and kind, then you get to be treated nicely back. However, if you treat other people rude and disrespectful, that is the way people will treat you back. If your answer to this is yes, then you took the last step of being successful.

          Challenges Teens Face Today

There are numerous challenges that teens face currently. One of the challenges they face is stress. Many teenage students stress over homework, relationship issues, sports, family problems, and more. This not only is a challenge, but stressing too much can lead to even bigger challenges such as gastritis, ulcers, and more illness. This is only one challenge that they face.

  1. Several major challenges that teens face are :  self-esteem and body-image, stress, bullying, depression, cyber addiction, drinking and smoking, teen pregnancy, peer-pressure and competition, and eating disorders. Surprisingly, these problems are connected to one another like a chain reaction.

  1. Two challenges that I currently face are stress and eating disorders. I noticed that I stress over too much on school and other stuff. An eating disorder is  when someone has irregular eating habits. Sometimes I don’t eat at the right time or I eat a lot in once. However, eating disorders are starting not to become a challenge. For stressing, I deal with it by taking deep breathes and just staying positive. Sometimes, I will stop worrying just by thinking about something else that I like. For eating disorders, I deal with it by just controlling my appetite.

  1.  Being a CTR person helps you to overcome any challenges that you face, because you make the right choices whether to not do the right thing or do the right thing. Making good choices and going the right path allows you to not face any challenges.

  1. I can help other teens to overcome their challenges by just supporting tem and that they are not alone in this. They will make it to the end at the end of the day. I will tell them my experiences on any challenges that I face, and that I overcome it. Teenagers who are facing challenges sometimes feel that they are alone and that no one cares. So I would like to show them that they are not alone.

Reflection: The greatest need that teens must have is love and support. They should know that someone in this world cares of what they think and they are not alone. Friends and family should support them in the good times and the bad times. Teens are currently at the time where they get frustrated and feel alone, so they need support and lots and lots of amorous.
