              Kinesiologists

Responsibilities and Duties:  A Kinesiologist is a person who specializes in helping individuals cope with physical injuries and also work to manage, rehabilitate, and to prevent disorders that has to do with movement.  These medical professionals’ main duty is to study how people move to look for strategies, methods, or ways to improve health in sports or in daily life. They examine the patient and identify how the human body moves and how it can function better. Kinesiologist  work in rehabilitation of the physical injuries. They demonstrate numerous physical exercises for the patients and apply various healing techniques that can help the patients in addressing of muscle tendons.
 Salary: An average salary of $47,978 per year.

Education: To be a Kinesiologist, you have to go through the education requirements. To pursue a degree in Kinesiology,you can pursue a high school degree or graduate degree in physiology, biology, human anatomy, and any other biological field. One can get  a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Kinesiology to work as a Kinesiologist. Sometimes a Doctoral degree is needed. An example of an education field of study is exercise science.

Demand or Need for this profession:  From 2014 to 2024, studies shown that Kinesiology are expected to increase by 34%, much faster than the average for all occupations. Employment is expected to be much faster.


Reflection: I think I like to be one, because I know what they are going through.They need support and I am willing to help them and get them back to their feet. I feel the need to help them, because it is painful injuries and I’ve been there.
