One of their responsibility is patrolling a designated section of the world’s ocean which includes the Mediterranean Sea. They have to know how to move across the water and to communicate with the disparate parts of their organizations. The Navy routinely collaborates with the other services to meet the Department of Defense requirements.

Education: The education that is required to be a part of the Navy is not  complex. A high school diploma is practically required most of the time. The applicants with a high school diploma needs to score at least 32 AFQT on the ASVAB ( Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test) to enlist. This test determines your strengths and which occupations you are eligible for once you enlist.  You also must have some community services hours in order to be accepted. They would like to see that if you are doing something for your community so you can have some experience by doing something for our country. You must enlist in training programs such as at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.

Demand For this particular career: There is no demand for the Navy. However, many do go to join in to help them serve the country.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to be part of the Navy, because it is somewhat frightening. I don’t think I would be able to do it.
