                       Registered Nurse  

Responsibilities and Duties: A registered nurse is basically a nurse in which they like to care for patients and excel at collaborating with others to help you feel better. They consist of many responsibilities. One of their responsibility is to is to provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health condition. Some of their duties consists of:
  •  Monitor, record, and report symptoms among the patient’s condition.
  • They record the patient’s medical information or history and their vital signs.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient’s responses.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to access ,plan, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Prepare patients for examinations or treatments’

Salary: median pay 67,490 USD

Education: The education requirements in order to become a registered nurse must be followed. The first requirement is to have a high school diploma. Then you must earn an associate’s degree which is the minimum you must have. You can earn this by entering into a program in nursing. Some courses include anatomy, nursing, nutrition, chemistry,etc. However, if you want to earn a better pay, you must earn a bachelor’s degree in an advance program of nursing. This is where it gets competitive. It is highly recommended to complete a  four-year university. After completing your degree program, you must take the national council Licensure Examination.

Demand or Need for this career: The job outlook for a registered nurse is said to increase 16 percent by 2024. Therefore, there should be a demand for this career in further notice.

Reflection: I think I would like to be in this part of field. I plan to try this career and see if I enjoy it. A registered nurse helps others to feel better and I would like to do that. A registered nurse also seems like a career in which I would be in.
